For couples who want a ceremony with heart, heritage, and high production value – this is for you!
Not many people ask this question out loud – but I bet you have thought it in one way or another:
“Can we have a wedding that feels deeply personal, culturally rich, light enough not to feel heavy, but with gravitas and with the polish of a perfectly run event?”
And if you’re reading this, perhaps you’re asking it too. Welcome! I’ve found my tribe!
You might be newly engaged, notebook in hand, dreaming about a ceremony that reflects who you truly are—your values, your heritage, your love story—yet still carries the elegance and energy of a timeless celebration.
You want something real.
Something beautiful.
Something… you.
Well, here’s the good news:
Yes—you can have it all.
“Why would we choose a celebrant over a registrar or a traditional ceremony?”
Because no one else can tell your story quite like you can—and I’m here to help you do exactly that.
As an Independent Celebrant , in my 13th, I specialise in crafting ceremonies that are deeply personal, inclusive, and joyful. Whether you’re interfaith, intercultural, or simply independent-minded, I bring your ceremony to life with authenticity, reverence—and just the right touch of theatrical magic and style.
Imagine this:
A ceremony set in a grade 2 listed venue, rich in its own heritage and story. You are live streaming to several countries, and we have a storm lantern with a candle lit for those we hope are with us in spirit. The sound of your Welsh heritage favourite hymn perhaps – or like one of my brides – her Grandad playing the piano for it – followed by your best friend reading a poem from your shared travels, the warmth of a British summer breeze as you say your vows in a place that mirrors the strong foundations you are building. You might even have a child – perhaps yours – have a role like your ring bearer.
This is the freedom of a celebrant-led wedding.
“Helen made our wedding feel like a sacred story. Every moment was ‘us’—full of love, laughter, and meaning. Our guests still talk about it.”
“Can you handle all the moving parts?”
Yes I can – And then some.
I know there are a lot of moving parts when it comes to wedding planning and marriage prep – don’t forget you also need to make time for marriage prep (I can help with this 🙂) but…
Before becoming a celebrant, I worked for over a decade in world-class producing theatre in London, and before that in cutting edge off west end production, and before that, I was a FOH manager for the largest operational theatre company of its kind in the world , and throughout my 20’s and early 30’s, I absorbed the work of some of the greatest playwrights and directors of our time. I bring that same discipline, storytelling finesse, and high production value to every ceremony I create.
Think of yourself as the ‘producer’, but me as your wedding director. I hold the energy of the room, I set the rhythm, and I make sure the emotion lands where it should. I’ve trained in performance and public speaking, but more importantly, I listen. I have a high emotional intelligence and creativity. I get to know you. And then I tell your story with truth, elegance, and joy.
“We’re planning a British wedding, but we’re also… well, not just British!”
Perfect. Me too, in many ways.
I’m genuinely British (and often described as “wonderfully British”!)—but I grew up in a culturally rich, interfaith family, and many of the couples I work with come from international or dual-heritage backgrounds. Whether it’s Iranian-British, Jewish-Christian, Indian-English or anything in between, I make space for every part of your story—faith, culture, family, and individuality.
We chose Helen because she was the one person who could hold space for both our worlds—with grace and humour.
You’re in the right place.
I’m in my 13th wedding season, and among the top 7% of celebrants in the UK and multi award winning, with hundreds of ceremonies under my belt. I’ve officiated at Grade II-listed venues, open fields, stately homes, private gardens, and even equine weddings (yes, the cob carried the rings!).
And when I’m not crafting wedding ceremonies, I’m supporting families through loss with my funeral celebrant work and my Swan Song programme, or I’m mentoring aspiring celebrants into their new careers. This isn’t just my job—it’s my calling.

So… Can You Have It All?
Yes.
You can have your heritage honoured, your story told, your values held—and still have a ceremony that leaves your guests raving for years.
You deserve a wedding that reflects your full, glorious self.
Let’s create it together.
