Ohhh its proposal season and as soon as the ring is on the finger the temptation is so fly straight into wedding planning - but hold fire . Think about what you love .

Here’s an example ; I love modern AND traditional, and I love inside AND out . I also love sunshine AND snow so I had no idea how I was going to pick a date for the wedding.

I decided to make it as simple as possible . I knew I would love every minuet of the day and I wanted it to last as long as possible, so …. We booked the longest day weekend!

We had the ceremony inside , the confetti, canapés, cake and photos outside , then went inside for the meal and then Outside again for evening light by the water because I also knew light was important to me and I’m always happy by water.

So have a think . Do more of what you love and less of what you don’t. Here is some Inspo for you! Check out the amazing Wisteria @burningfold . Inside they have a gorgeous oak room, outside they have a pool and stunning gardens. There are horses too and a huge Lilly pond . Go check it out! I’ll see you there!

Time will tick by - if you aren’t intention about your time, someone else will be. It will also fly by if you aren’t marking it. As we all start to plot in dates for next year, I’m still shocked how quickly this year has past by. I’m no where near ready to do a ‘review’ and tbh I don’t really ever do one as I’m always onto the next thing but , as my intention is to do one with all the family because time really is slipping through my fingers. I love the life Joe and I have built together and the children are growing like we had put them in a tomato bag! So, before the year ends , we will reflect , learn and decided to do more of what we love, and less of what we don’t.

One day; and yet day one! The ‘blank page before

One day; and yet day one! The ‘blank page before you’ when it comes to wedding ceremony need not be a worry. I’ve got 12 years of being a celebrant u set my belt and a life time of ceremonies which feed into my very fibre. Growing up in the church choir, hearing my Dad preach from time to time, a BA Hons degree, 15 years theatre management and a lots of hospitality events under my belt I’m well equipped to take the fear out of the day for you. Having the ceremony start the day with your guests enables you to really celebrate with all your loved ones. It’s fellowship, it’s community, it’s connection and it’s your chance to really tell your story!

Oh my goodness I got out my own way and it was fantastic!

I always fly when I do this but it always takes me a minute to remember to step aside from myself, but when I do, it’s always brilliant!

Hopefully you are on my mailing list (I’ll put a link in stories) and you will see how much happened in November. I reminded myself that I had to decide and to not just Always go with the flow. Remeber that reel ‘but when does the flow start ?’ Intention setting is so powerful. I’m setting mine.

My highlight was my live Table affair webinar - we covered so so so much - I was buzzing! There was also 2 amazing weddings, a training day, Wedx wedding fair show, my network walk, the @twia_official awards (podium finish 👌🏼) highly commended , and so much more !

I love to help, to serve, to facilitate dreams and love. My souls mission is to make the world a better place one love story at a time!

You don’t NEED a celebrant, much like you don’

You don’t NEED a celebrant, much like you don’t need a wedding dress, or special shoes, or a scent, or really any guests because you could just elope. You don’t even NEED to get married these days.

But, if your story is worth celebrating, and you want to share your day with those you love and have them all in the same place just for you guys , and you want to make it memorable, wonderful and so so so perfect, then YES actually. I’m right up there with shoes! It’s a must!
