Hello! I’m Helen Noble, and for the past 12 years, I’ve had the honour of helping couples and families celebrate their unique love stories as an Independent Celebrant.

My work is all about crafting beautiful, transformative ceremonies that are as personal and inclusive as they are unforgettable. I believe that a ceremony is more than just a moment – it’s an experience that sets the foundation for how you’ll live your life.

my journey

My path into celebrancy feels almost destined, shaped by a blend of my personal roots and professional life. Growing up in a diverse mix of cultures – with Church of England traditions, a Catholic grandmother, and internationally married relatives – I was surrounded by ceremonies of all kinds from a young age. I was a chorister and even learned to ring church bells, enhancing the experience in any way I could. By my teenage years, I was already immersed in the world of events, working as a florist’s assistant in South Kensington. Weddings, funerals, and special occasions have been woven into the fabric of my life from the very beginning.

After my A-levels, I followed my love for theatre management and event organising, earning a degree in Performing Arts. By 25, I was managing one of the UK’s leading theatre production houses and became the youngest Chair of the London Independent Theatre Managers Forum. The skills I honed – storytelling, high production values, and the magic of bringing an audience together – are the very same skills I bring to every ceremony I create today.

Naming Ceremonies

Celebrating the joy of new beginnings, whether for a baby or an adult.
My approach is all about choice, individuality, and comfort. I want you to feel fully present in the moment, creating a ceremony that truly reflects your values, culture, and love story. Whether it’s adjusting the space for intimacy with rows of trees or having a discreet pack of Polos on hand to calm pre-ceremony nerves, I make sure the setting feels uniquely yours.

I’ve also created Swan Song, an award-winning online platform that guides families in planning for the inevitable with compassion and clarity. Recognised with an international award for Best Funeral Celebrant by the Academy of Modern Celebrancy, I’m now a trainer, helping others bring this depth of care to their own work.

I understand that your wedding is just the beginning. That’s why I’ve partnered with a bridal mindset coach to offer the Healthy Marriage Success Course – available online and as an in-person group session twice a year. It’s a toolkit for a resilient, loving marriage, designed to support you well beyond the wedding day.

A little bit more about me

Outside my work, I live in the stunning Surrey Hills, a proud member of Surrey Hills Enterprises, holding their Sustainability Trademark Award.

I love nothing more than walking my dog in the hills or exploring the woods and vistas with my family. I’ve got an old moggy who’s about 98 in cat years, and she’s dearly loved. I’m a huge fan of Beatrix Potter – not just for her stories, but for the incredible woman she was.
I also enjoy horse riding and have a special place in my heart for equine weddings. From cobs serving as ring bearers to brides arriving on their majestic stallions, these ceremonies hold a unique kind of magic. Though I’ve made Surrey my home, I’m a South West London girl at heart and always relish a trip back to the city for a London wedding.
